On this website, you will find information and tools to help you with funding applications for Motorways of the Sea projects. This site was developed as part of the INTERREG IVB NorthSea project StratMoS–Strategic Demonstration Project for Motorways of the Sea.
The aim is to provide support for people wishing to submit TEN-T and Marco Polo funding applications. Such applications have to provide information on the nature of the planned project and its economic viability. For further information see the official application documents by following the links above. In addition to this, the following three issues need to be covered:
- the modal shift (from road to sea), that is expected as a consequence of the project
- the environmental impacts as well as
- the socio-economic impacts of the project.
